April 16, 2016, 7:30 p.m. Weis Center for the Performing Arts The third and final concert of the Bucknell Orchestra Semester of Social Justice Series will present symphonic music inspired by some of the most significant social justice issues of the past and present, including Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, and Elmer Bernstein’s film score to the 1962 movie adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mockingbird. Dr. Bridget Newell, Associate Provost for Diversity, will be the narrator for Lincoln Portrait.
